Donovan: "Have fun!"

On March 26th at the New Meadowlands Stadium the US Men National Team squared off against the 4th in the FIFA World ranking Argentina. The game ended in a hard fought 1:1 tie. The US squad featured a 29-year old Landon Donovan, who - on that day - put the Yanks' uniform on for the 129th time. That is only 35 caps less then the current leader in this category Cobi Jones, who retired from soccer in 2007. This record will undoubtedly be broken by an LA Galaxy star sometime in the near future, but he already holds another one: for the most goals scored for the US (45).
